Trail Blazing Mom x Hiking Adventures: Houghton’s Pond Walk

Hi Friends,

We’re excited to bring our communities together for a special walk at Houghton’s Pond in Milton!

About the collaboration

Hiking Adventures is a Randolph-based community hiking group founded in 2022 with a mission to encourage people to get outdoors, explore local trails, and connect through nature.

Trail Blazing Mom is a free community walking initiative founded by Marsha G. Harrison, MPH, who has a background in public health. Marsha organizes gentle, family-friendly walks and helps families discover stroller-friendly outdoor spaces. The walks are designed with postpartum moms in mind but are open to everyone.

For this outing, Marsha will co-lead the walk with the Hiking Adventures team, helping families enjoy the outdoors at a comfortable pace.

What to expect

We’ll begin together on the Green Loop, which includes a stroller-friendly section. After completing that portion, Marsha will lead the stroller-friendly group, while the rest of the Hiking Adventures group continues on a longer trail.

Whether you’re bringing a stroller, walking with your family, or looking for a longer hike, there’s a place for you!
