Green Friday Walk at Douglas S Westgate - WAREHAM (Post-Thanksgiving Outdoor Walk)

Join The Wareham Land Trust on "Green Friday", a day to spend quality time outdoors with family and friends no purchases necessary, November 27th, for a walk in the fresh air at Douglas S. Westgate Conservation Area led by Wareham Land Trust Advisor Tom Kinsky. Enjoy the outdoors and hike with good company after the holiday bustle at Douglas S. Westgate while getting to know the trails.

This walk will be at a moderate pace with stops for rest and discussions along the way. This walk will cover approximately 2 miles through pine forest. Prepare for some uneven terrain and some steeper inclines.

This event is FREE but space is limited!

Parking is available at 29 Papermill Rd, West Wareham, MA.

Please bring water, bugspray, sunscreen, and wear layers appropriate for the weather.

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be canceled. Registered participants will be notified by email the morning of the event, and a cancellation notice will also be posted on the Wareham Land Trust’s social media pages.
