Cyclotown Pop-Up Traffic Garden

A pop-up traffic garden for kids in the Elks Lodge parking lot behind 202 Shirley Ave. Kids ride and roll through a mini street grid with stop signs and crosswalks and learn the rules of the road. Bring a bike, scooter or skates, and a helmet. No bike? Safe Routes to School and MassBike bring a fleet of bikes to borrow. Also on site: free helmets and bike lights from Mass in Motion while they last, free basic bike repair, make-your-own juice on a blender bike, pizza, giveaways, and a raffle for a Kryptonite bike lock. The lot is a two-minute walk from Revere Beach station (Blue Line). Free. Sign-up is encouraged; use the link below.
