Revisit the Charles, Where Bicyclists Played in 1895 (14)

A 14-mile guided ride visiting bicycle-related historical sites along the Charles River with Larry Finison, author of 'Boston's Cycling Craze, 1880-1900' and 'Boston's Twentieth Century Bicycling Renaissance.' Riders will visit where bicycles were built, where cyclists gathered by the hundreds along the Charles River, and learn about Waltham's former bicycle racetrack. The no-drop ride travels at 10-12 mph over rolling hills on road surfaces.
