B2C Halloween Ripper 40-Mile Challenging Ride
Moderate pace · 12–15 mph · 40 miles
PaidRegistration req’d
A number of B2C members have been asking for a more challenging ride, so we’re excited to present the inaugural B2C Halloween Ripper.
This 40-mile ride starts off easy, departing from the B2C Bike Kitchen and heading north-east on the Northern Strand Trail (NST). After crossing the border into Lynn we’ll break off the trail and follow local roads to the entrance of the Dept. of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Lynn Fells Reservation where we’ll sample some rough and hilly terrain.
After exiting the woods, it’s back on the road to navigate through the streets of Lynn and across the causeway to Nahant. After a circuit that follows the coastline and reveals some spectacular ocean views, we’ll rest and recover at our second DCR location, Red Rock Park on the Lynn shore, before working our way back through downtown streets for the journey’s final leg on the NST.
After-ride festivities will take place at Idle Hands, just a few blocks from the B2C Bike Kitchen.
This ride is unsupported and designed for experienced cyclists. Have a backup plan in the event that you are not able to complete the ride.
