History Hike of the Blue Hills Reservation

Join us for a guided history hike through the Blue Hills Reservation led by Rick, a longtime Blue Hills enthusiast with an extensive knowledge of the reservation and its history.

On this hike, Rick will share stories and historical insights about the Blue Hills as we explore the landscape and trails. Participants will learn about how the reservation has changed over time and the people, places, and events that have helped shape this unique landscape.

This will be Rick’s first hike with Friends of the Blue Hills, with plans for additional history-focused hikes in the future. Each hike will offer an opportunity to explore a different part of the Blue Hills while learning more about the history and stories behind the reservation.
