Forrester Research began inviting its Cambridge staff to participate in Walk/Ride Days a few years ago. Since then, they've gone international with it, inviting staff at their foreign branches to participate as well. Each year, Forrester raffles off a high end bicycle; the number of times staff participate in Walk/Ride Days determines the number of raffle entries they receive.

If July 30th is a day off work for you or another day of summer vacation when you need to find activities for kids consider going to the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. It's FREE admission all day long on July 30th at part of the Community Days program.
You can't bring your bikes on the Green Line but you can bring them on the Orange Line and the Ruggles T stop is not far from the Museum so you could combine a trip to the Museum with a bike ride in the Fens and continue following the bike path on the Arborway all the way to Jamaica Pond.
As part of Walk/Ride Day Program kick-off at Healthworks Foundation in Dorchester we were able to raffle off a kid's mountain bike. Healthworks Foundation has a stong family health focus with children's programing and a full kitchen at the Center scheduled to open later this year with lots of fun and healthy family cooking classes.

It will be a sweet end to the month. Raffle prize for July 30th Walk/Ride Day is a $20 gift certificate to Petsi Pies. With a Somerville and Cambridge location it will be easy to walk, bike or take the T to pick up your pie--choosing a flavor may take a little more time.
