Carson Poe was the lucky recipient of our June Walk/Ride Day on-line raffle. Carson entered the raffle by checking in on-line for Walk/Ride Day. Carson used his bicycle and walked on Walk/Ride Day, and he usually travels using those means in addition to the bus and train. He is the recipient of a gift certificate to Bonny's Landscaping. Congratulations Carson!!

Somerville Bike Lane Ribbon Cutting
June's Walk/Ride Day commenced with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Somerville to celebrate the freshly painted bike lane on Beacon Street. Bike advocates and city officials from Cambridge and Somerville met bright and early at 8:30 am to meet Somerville's Mayor Curtatone for the ribbon cutting. Many organizations were represented including Green Streets, Shape Up Somerville, and GoLoco.
